      Lesson 6: Practice 1

The effect that I noticed that surprised me was how much I disliked the rajasic practice.
Perhaps because I am use to starting out tamasic, going towards rajasic and then ending Sattvic.
Which is in alignment with the teachings but I don’t think I really fully ever consciously registered that I format my yogic and exercise practices in this manner. Maybe at some point I did but the principles can be more choicefully engaged with moving forward from the realization of this assignment which I am grateful for.

        Lesson 6: Practice 2

I was already eating this way for my transition to fall.
HOWEVER, I definitely ate some cookies with my partner one night and it was very apparent in the way I woke up the next day.
Still on time, but it took me longer than usual to feel mental clarity in order to enter into my day at full functioning.
Amazing to notice this amidst practicing such a choiceful engagement even though my lifestyle has been on point already for the most part.

          Lesson 6: Practice 3

I noted that the day I scheduled to do this practice, rajas was amped up!! HAha

I decided to do a short Budokon Yoga style practice which is invigorating, yet very intentional and slow in order for the muscles to engage in a very very choiceful manner. Following the practice, I did alternate nostril breathing for 3 minutes and had a sit. When I check in with my body, I naturally wanted to go another 7 minutes and I was soooooooo chill and gentlely focused the rest of the day. I noticed that natural stopping points in my work arose multiple times and I opted to take mini walk breaks and sit in a dark room. It was quite lovely!!
