Anne Desjardins
Ayurvedic Practitioner Student
Anne has healed herself from many things including long-term Lyme and tick-borne illness as well as HPV and near cervical cancer. After Western medicine left her with no alternatives, Anne began exploring more holistic modalities. Through the grace of God she was exposed to hot yoga and Ayurveda as a side effect of the yoga lifestyle she embraced to help heal her body.
After experiencing great success with her body through the techniques she learned, and starting a support group in her community for those affected by tick-borne illnesses, she thought it was best to learn Ayurveda formally which has brought her to Yoga Veda Institute. Anne is completing her studies and only needs to finish her anatomy and physiology which she is currently doing at her local community college.
Anne is incredibly grateful to be alive and healthy to have the mental and physical capacity to serve others in their journey to heal not only their bodies, but their minds and souls, through an Ayurvedic foundation.

Nathalie Gajdos
Ayurvedic Practitioner Student
Nathalie Gajdos is a dedicated holistic wellness practitioner who combines the principles of Ayurveda and Yoga with her formal education in psychology and human behavior.
Her journey toward holistic wellness began at a young age when she greatly struggled with depression and anxiety. In her pursuit of relief she tried to heal herself through self-medication, with food, drugs, and alcohol. She also sought professional help from numerous therapists and doctors and took prescription medications, which together provided some temporary relief, but no complete solution.
In 2014, her life took a transformative turn when she discovered Ayurveda. This ancient holistic approach provided her with a genuinely comprehensive path to healing. Through the practices of Ayurveda and Yoga, Nathalie was able to understand the illness, heal, experience self-fulfillment and a sense of ease that previously seemed to her to be unattainable. Today, she leads a life characterized by joy and fulfillment, that is in stark contrast to the anguish and despair she once experienced.
In 2016, she established High Five Yoga Health & Healing Ltd and now works as a Transformational Life Coach. She skillfully combines her personal experiences and life lessons with her diverse education and training in behavior change, lifestyle, and spirituality for truly comprehensive healing.
Nathalie is unwavering in her commitment to sharing her insights and enthusiasm for life with individuals who are grappling with similar challenges, such as anxiety, depression, stress, and various mental, emotional, and spiritual difficulties.
She works with individuals, couples, and groups in a confidential, approachable, honest, and compassionate manner. Her approach empowers those who are ready for change, guiding them towards a life characterized by ease, fulfillment and joy.

Johanna Guerillot
Ayurvedic Practitioner
I am Johanna, an Ayurvedic practitioner deeply dedicated to women's health, holistic medicine, and the profound wisdom of ancient traditions.
My journey with Ayurveda began seven years ago on a solo adventure to India. There, I found myself at the spiritual sanctuary of Mata Amritanandamayi, lovingly known as Amma, the hugging saint.
It was within this sacred haven that I was first introduced to the timeless wisdom of ancient India. Fate led me to an Ayurvedic doctor who would soon become both a cherished friend and my mentor.
My five years of service in the Ayurvedic department at the ashram were truly a blessing. During this time, I had the privilege of learning directly from my mentor, absorbing his invaluable knowledge and wisdom.
Simultaneously, I diligently pursued online training with The American Institute of Vedic Studies with Dr David Frawley, and then with Yoga Veda Institute to earn my certifications in Ayurveda.
Now, I have embarked on a new journey to share the wealth of knowledge I've acquired. I've opened my online practice, committed to bringing the ancient treasures of Ayurveda to a wider audience, offering the wisdom and healing that have enriched my life.
My goal and dream center on uniting ancient wisdom with the demands of modern life, enabling women to pursue their missions, dreams, and desires without feeling drained, scattered, or disconnected from their true selves.
My heartfelt desire is to help women find a balance between their worldly responsibilities – be it work, family, or social commitments – and their inner world, deeply connected to their authentic selves.
Through my own experiences, I've come to believe that this equilibrium is where we tap into an unlimited source of love, energy, and creativity - the very elements we're all seeking.

Sandy Morales
Ayurvedic Practitioner Student
With a lifelong passion for natural health stemming from a transformative encounter with severe peritonitis, I embarked on a journey to understand the profound interplay between diet, mind, and the body's innate healing capacity. Disinclined to accept a lifetime tethered to medication, I sought a holistic approach that recognized the intrinsic interconnectedness of human existence. Over two decades, I dedicated myself to economic and social development in emerging nations, bearing witness to the stark inequality in healthcare access. This ignited a mission to democratize the knowledge of natural self-healing, believing it to be a universal human right.
While my professional path led me to international organizations across diverse terrains, my heart longed for the nurturing embrace of plants, healing, and natural medicine. This yearning prompted my transformative sojourn to India, where I immersed myself in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda.
Through rigorous studies and certifications from esteemed institutions, including the Yoga Veda Institute, I emerged as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, with aspirations to ascend to the realm of an Ayurvedic Practitioner. Concurrently, I delved into herbalism, accumulating expertise in ancestral knowledge of Andean medicinal plants and engaging with indigenous communities in northern Ecuador. This profound experience enriched my understanding of local medicinal flora and their holistic approach to medicine.
Beyond theory, I've mastered the Zen touch technique, utilizing energy points within the central nervous system for healing. When not immersed in Ayurveda and plants, you'll find me exploring mountains, cycling, capturing nature's essence through photography, or wandering through forests, attuned to the subtle rhythms of the natural world.
With unwavering faith in Ayurveda, I offer a personalized guide rooted in its timeless principles, harmonizing diverse modalities of healing for those seeking balance and those who've navigated the terrain of conventional medicine. I eagerly anticipate the privilege of accompanying you on your journey towards holistic well-being
