Where it
began.
This program has a heart-centered story. We'd like you to know it, because it's the reason this community is the way it is.
A Mountain Above the Sea
We didn't start as an online school. We started as a healing center on a mountaintop in rural Thailand, overlooking the sea. We'd moved there as young parents to run an Āyurvedic center, and for years we taught month-long Āyurvedic Yoga Teacher Training immersions there.
Students came to learn, live, and practice Āyurveda together. By the end of each program, they'd become family — and we were always sad to see our time together end.

That was the same thing we heard, program after program. Our students wanted deeper study and real professional training in Āyurveda. Distance options barely existed then, and the few that did were priced out of reach for the very students we wanted to support.
We Built It For Them
So we built this program — not to grow a business, but because our students needed a path forward that didn't exist yet. What began as a small commitment to a handful of students grew into what it is today. The belief underneath it never changed: Āyurveda is worth sharing, and it should be reachable by the people called to it.
What Honest Pricing Looks Like
This program is built to be studied at your own pace, across three levels — Foundation, Counsellor, and Practitioner. We built it as a membership, priced at what honest teaching actually costs. We're not a discount program, and we've never wanted to be one.
What makes this mission-driven isn't a scholarship fund — it's the price itself. One membership, honestly priced, so cost is never the only reason someone can't study here.
What We Ask In Return
Because this is a shared community, we ask every student to show up with responsibility and care:
- Take ownership of your learning
- Engage honestly with the material
- Meet deadlines and requirements
- Use support systems the way they're intended
- Respect faculty and staff time
- Communicate through the channels we've set up
- Practice independence when you're able to
Most students do this naturally, and none of this will ever apply to you. But we want to be honest about what happens when trust breaks down and stays broken: we'll ask that student to move on. It's not something we take lightly — it's how we protect this for the faculty who give their time, the staff who support every student, and the community you're joining.
Where We're Headed
This is part of something larger. Our long-term goal is to become an independent nonprofit, so we can keep expanding access to real Āyurvedic education without asking any one student to carry its full cost alone. We're not there yet, but that's the direction we're building toward.
Why We Extend This To You
This program began with students we cared about, who needed another way forward. We built it because they needed it. We continue it because that need still exists. And we're extending the same thing to you, for the same reason. This is why we exist.
