class 2
Funny story, 2 days after class, I cut myself with a serrated bread knife in the left middle finger!
1) There is no history of diabetics or blood disease
2) No diseases, nutrition, omnivore diet, less meat, lots of veggies, no medications,
3) – K low pulse with P frog, Pitta pulse, Vata with Pitta pulse,normal warm fingers, normal skin color, no edema, fast pain once I had cut myself, but then subsided
4)No Erythema, warm, no induration, no maceration, no staining
5) the edge is not advancing, the wound is static where it got sliced, not rolled, not undermined, not everted
6) I had put pressure on the cut right away and held the cut together until it stopped bleeding. Then I wrapped the finger with a bandage. 24 hours later I took the bandage off to write this report/observation and the skin had already pulled together the split sides. No granulation because there was no gap. No slough, eschar, the epithelium has already connected.
7) there was no pale, clear, or yellow exudate leaking out. Just bright, red blood. The fingers always bleed a lot, but putting pressure on helped a lot to stop the bleeding. There was no odor.
8) as I cut myself, there was pain right away, but as soon as I added pressure the pain subsided. There is no pain now and I am using the finger already as normal.
8) The length of the cut was 3/4 of an inch long and 0.02 inches wide
9) The treatment involved right away applied pressure and bandage. After 24 hours the sliced epithelium has smoothly grown together without a lump. The wounded skin is slightly sore to the touch.
