For a client with sensitive skin I would go very simple first:
To apply fresh aloe vera gel on the affected area. Its Rasa is sweet, bitter, cold and sweet. The inside of the aloe leaf has polysaccharides which have benefits in healing skin and mucosa membrane.
To support further healing I would recommend:
Drink 3 cups of fennel, coriander, and a pinch of cardamom tea. Fennel is sweet and cooling, aids in digestion. It relaxes muscles and is nourishing for Majja dhatu. Coriander is cooling and bitter, sweet and pungent. It stimulates appetite and releases toxins through urination. Cardamom stimulates the agni and directs Vata downwards. It expels Ama from ingesting dairy products, clearing out excess Kapha. Cardamom is a sattvic spice that brings in more Prana and directs it downwards. Those toxins would be released through feces instead through the skin.

On hot days, drink a cocktail of ⅓ cup aloe vera juice, ⅓ cup of pomegranate juice, 1 cup water. Pomegranate is sweet, astringent, heating and sweet. The astringent taste strengthens the heart , it nourishes Rakta dhatu, slows the movement of Vata and takes away excess Pitta. Pomegranate nourishes the brain via Tarpaka Kapha satisfaction.
I also recommend 3 minutes of nadi shodahana to balance Ida and Pingula
