Ayurvedic Cleansing
Have you ever tried a detox diet, cleanse or fast only to feel worse than when you started? All of the new “Detox” diets and cleansing programs that are out there that promise that you’ll feel better fast are really just new age hype to get you to spend your money on useless (and sometimes dangerous) products.
Ayurveda is not that. Ayurveda takes a different and quite opposite approach. Ayurveda is all about SELF HEALING. In other words, employing the systems of the body to heal themselves. By providing our bodies with the optimum environment for healing to happen, all on it’s own.
Ayurveda doesn’t employ any outside factors, rather utilizes the bodies own systems to effectively detox, cleanse and rejuvenate the body.
Rather than focusing on a diet of restriction like most “detox” diets employ. Ayurveda recommends that we employ a healing diet of fresh natural grains, herbs and fresh veggies to guide our body to a space where natural and complete healing can happen, healing from the inside out.
Ayurveda recommends a whole host of great tips and tricks for detoxifying body, mind and soul. There are also some great tips for spring cleaning our house as well.
