Transparency & Accountability
Transparency & Accountability
What people say about us, including the hard parts.
If you are thinking of studying with us, you should see what past students have said, the good and the difficult. So we link to our reviews and complaints on the Better Business Bureau right here, where you can read them for yourself.
Read the Reviews
These are public, and they include criticism. We have left them where they are, on purpose.
Every review is one person's experience, and every experience matters to us, including the ones that did not go the way a student hoped. Read them, read our responses, and reach your own conclusion.
What We Have Heard
Student feedback has pointed to five places where we need to be clearer and more consistent:
- Tuition and fees. Ongoing fees, refunds, and cancellation.
- Program changes. How a change affects students who are already enrolled.
- Access. Finding coursework, recordings, and materials.
- Communication. Support that is consistent, in writing, and easy to follow.
- Graduation and credentials. What a certificate means, what graduation requires, and how outside credentials and clinical training fit.
What We Are Doing About It
- Tuition and fees. One plain price, set out on the Tuition page, with cancellation and refunds written in the FAQ.
- Program changes. Students from before September 1 keep their original program and record. Active students close to finishing can complete it through the Teach-Out.
- Access. Lessons, checklists, and community live in one place, the student portal.
- Communication. Each kind of request has its own form, so every request has a clear path and a written record.
- Graduation and credentials. The Certification page says what each certificate and title is, and that clinical training is optional.
This work is not finished. When something changes that affects students, we will say so here.
What We Cannot Share
We protect our students' privacy, so we may not be able to discuss individual enrollments, payments, or academic records in public. If you have a concern, write to hello@yogavedainstitute.com. A person reads it.
Our Commitment
Accountability is not the absence of criticism. It is what an institution does when it hears it. We will keep this page and these links up, and we will answer criticism with changes.
Our mission has never required perfection. It requires integrity, discernment, responsibility, and a willingness to keep learning.
How we think about disagreement and kindness is in Our Statement.
