Dear Manou Broersm,
Your reading makes sense. Navamsa is the chart of dharma, and Sun and Jupiter in the 11th of D9 point to a purpose that becomes clearer and more rewarding with time.
Jupiter at 3° behind the Sun is combust, so the traditional caution applies. But your point about direction is sound: the Sun is already ahead and pulling away, which many practitioners read as a gradual release of Jupiter’s results.
Since the natal distance never changes, track the “freeing” through timing: your Sun and Jupiter dasha periods and Jupiter’s transits over your natal Sun and Moon.
Things worth checking: the D9 signs of both planets (and whether either is vargottama), your Atmakaraka and Karakamsa, and the D10 for career expression.

Swagatika here from NJ. I have been with YVI since Fall ’24, and I am looking forward to completing my AP by July ’27. I was a Reiki Master and a holistic healer for a decade before starting my Ayurveda journey. I also have many years of experience in digital marketing before that. Now completely dedicated to Ayurveda, which is a life-changing experience for me. Finally, I found the ultimate and the mother of all healing modalities.
Feel free to share your experience. I would love to know.
