Lesson 2 memories of scars:
One thing I wanted to share was remembering about scars is that not all want to or need to be erased. Scars can hold powerful memories of initiation that for some people do not want to be forgotten. For instance tiger marks for women on the side of their thighs-reminds them of childbirth initiation. scars can mark important times in peoples lives and that some may simply choose to honor and keep. Decorative scars, Battle scars, trauma scars, breast cancer survival scars all hold memories… just knowing that all scars do not need to be erased 🕉️💚💫Bettina I know you went the anatomy route for , I had to add the other side Gifts of my healing hands🪬- I kinda wanna turn this into a poem lol tremendous gratitude for all the practices that my hands are already doing to help serve healing.🪬healing touch training. 🪬sending healing light through my hands. I can generate heat by meditating on my hands and direct to any part of the body that needs healing. thinking about the origins how beautiful the symbol of hamsa hands that span throughout many cultures beyond thousands of years ago… my hands know ancient mudras, I practice and create in meditation practice. My hands help demonstrate to healing practices to my students. My hands can also be used as protection healing. Palms up my hands are receiving healing energy from the cosmos. My hands can help ground me palms down when I’m anxious. My hands can help gather prana from above. My hands create art therapy in sculpting clay, glass , fiber, watercolor. My hands help to heal the bees through gardening sanctuary where my hands cultivate flowers, plant seeds for pollinators to be nourished. My hands bring me healing joy. My hands know how to dance, how to create herbal medicine and healing. It goes on and on here… My hands know how to bring love to myself, to my family and community…
