Yes Jewel, it’s interesting to observe your own body and it’s imperfections and the healing process. Amazing when we can look at ourselves impersonally with a clinical eye, instead of emotionally, as we’re prone to do…

Yes, I do agree. I have a pretty nasty scar on my forehead from a car accident when I was a young adult – I was pretty haywire at the time and the scar is a reminder to stay tempered. And that I’m grateful to not have died then…

Bettina – as a healer, I see (without seeing) how your hands will guide you to what ails, what needs just love or direction. xo

Bettina, thanks for the perspective on the physical aspect of the hands, so infinately wonderous!

Here is what came from my hands:

I know I have many healing energies in my hands and not just the obvious ones – hand on a person’s back when they need encouragement or understanding, hands on a sore muscle or strain, just touching, – rubbing a sore spot, patting someone on the back, both for literal encouragement and a push forward… cupping a persons face with hands to show adoration and acceptance – all things “hands on” can be healing.
For me, as a “Food is medicine” cook and chef, the hands that handle food, prepare food, stir the pot, weed and tend the garden – all healing with the love and attention. Picking up the food to examine it or eat it, imparting the love and gratitude for the food, just by touching and handling it..
