Come study
Ayurvedic Medicine.
Think more deeply. Live more consciously.
Learn Āyurveda your way. Three levels, one membership, and a community beside you.
Enrollment closes October 31.

"It is very rare to find such good-hearted, honest people sharing a priceless, ageless wisdom."
Not something you study. Something you begin to live.
"The body is the primary means of fulfilling one's purpose in life."
KālidāsaFor more than 5,000 years, Āyurveda has taught that you are unique. It doesn't ask "What's wrong with you?" It asks "Who are you?" Many students come to learn about Āyurveda and discover themselves. You'll study the whole tradition: philosophy, psychology, nutrition, subtle anatomy, yoga, and your relationship with nature.
A platform built around you.
You can study Āyurveda properly, at a price that doesn't shut you out. Are you a nurse seeking deeper clinical tools, a parent caring for your family, or someone who has watched conventional care fail a person you love? This platform is for you.
Study from anywhere
No campus to travel to or pay for. You join from wherever you live.
Learn from real teachers
Physicians, herbalists, and scholars teach you directly. Every student gets the same faculty.
Practice first
Hands, heart, head. Every lesson begins with practice. You cook with the seasons and sit with real cases until the medicine is yours.
Room for your life
You set the pace. Step away and come back when you're ready.
One honest price
You pay what the teaching needs and nothing more, the same as everyone.
A community, not an institution
You study beside people who care about this medicine. Āyurveda can help your family heal and your community reconnect.

We begin together November 1
Study with a whole community. Your next year is on us.
Each month, you open the same module on the same day as every student and new member. A one-time offer for new and returning students.
You study the full Ayurvedic Health Counselor program, with the community beside you.
You complete the full program and apply to graduate by October 31, 2027. Then you study the Ayurvedic Practitioner level.
Two years for $500, if you finish. Only for members who pay the full $500 up front, not by payment plan or monthly billing. Textbooks and Registrar fees are not included.
Join by October 31 and pay the full $500 for your year up front.
All required coursework in the Ayurvedic Health Counselor level.
Submit your Graduation Application by October 31, 2027.
Remain an active member in good standing until you graduate.
Enrollment closes October 31.
What do I have to do?
Enroll by October 31 and pay the full $500 up front. Complete all required coursework in the Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) level. Submit your Graduation Application by October 31, 2027. Stay an active member in good standing until you graduate. Then your second year is on us.
Is the monthly shared module enough? How big is the program?
The shared module is where we meet each month. It doesn't replace the program. The AHC level is 600 hours, roughly twelve hours a week over a year. Study ahead at your own pace. No live classes are mandatory.
When does it need to be done?
All required coursework complete and your Graduation Application submitted by October 31, 2027. The dates are firm.
Can I use a payment plan?
Payment plans are available for membership. The Challenge is only for members who pay the full $500 up front.
Do I have to stay a member?
Yes, in good standing with payments current, until you graduate. Cancelling, a refund or a chargeback ends your eligibility.
Do I earn a certificate? A professional title?
Completing the level earns your AHC certificate, no exam required. The title Ayurvedic Health Counselor comes through our final exam or the national board exam. Neither exam is part of this offer.
What does the second year include, and what doesn't it?
One year of standard learning membership, a $500 value, starting when your first year ends, to study the Ayurvedic Practitioner level. After it, membership continues at $500 a year. The Graduation Application has no charge. Not included: textbooks, Registrar requests such as certificates ($108 each), clinical training, partner-school fees, exam fees.
I'm already a student, or I was one before.
Current students study each month's shared module with us at no extra cost. The second-year offer is for new and returning students. Returning students pay the price in effect when they rejoin, $500 today. If you've completed coursework before, write to us before you join and we'll confirm what counts.
What if I don't finish?
You keep your education and can keep studying by renewing your membership. You won't earn the second year. One offer per person. We may change or end this offer for new joiners at any time.
One membership. Every level.
You earn a certificate at every level, no exam required. If you want a professional title, you sit an exam. Everything you learn carries forward.

300 hoursYou study 100 hours of Āyurvedic Foundations and a complete 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training: the doṣas, Agni, daily and seasonal routine, āsana, prāṇāyāma, and how to teach.
You coach and teach. You don't diagnose.

You counsel, alongside a person's doctor. You don't diagnose.
Ayurvedic Practitioner
1,500 hoursYou take on complex cases: formal pathology, advanced herbal and therapeutic protocols, Pañcakarma theory, structural and reproductive health.
The deepest scope we offer, and your door into NAMACB eligibility.

Every level is included in your membership.
Āyurveda is not a licensed medical profession in most regions. These levels describe what your education prepares you to offer, not a legal scope of practice. Check your local regulations.
What studying here looks like.

Peace begins with me.
Peace doesn't begin when the world finally cooperates. It begins with becoming more aware, curious and discerning, and keeping one small promise to ourselves.
Āyurveda is a wonderful teacher for this. Every module is a mirror as much as a lesson. Not who the internet thinks you should be. Your nature. Your habits. Your patterns.
We are not here to tell you what to think. You are free to think differently. Extend that same freedom to others.
Plain about what we are.
We are an independent platform, not accredited. We left AAC accreditation to stay rigorous and keep Āyurveda accessible to you.
Aligned with the AAC
Our curriculum fully aligns with the Ayurvedic Accreditation Council guidelines, so most AAC-recognized schools will recognize you for clinical transfer. Each receiving school sets its own requirements.
The NAMACB Bridge Pathway
If you want the national board exam, you complete the in-person clinical hours at a partner institution, such as California College of Ayurveda. Always your choice.
Leave when you're ready
Study Year 1, 2 or 3, then transfer to finish advanced studies elsewhere. The receiving school decides on transfer credit.

Before you decide, read what past students have said, the good and the difficult. Our reviews and complaints sit on the Better Business Bureau, and we say plainly what we are doing about them.

Be sure it's right for you.
This is for you if
- You want to learn Āyurveda properly, from the beginning. No background needed.
- You want to study at your own pace.
- You want practice and reflection, not only information.
- You like studying beside a community.
This may not be for you if
- You want a licensed medical degree. Āyurveda is not a licensed medical profession in most regions.
- You want fixed class times. Ours is on demand, with live classes optional.
- You want a diagnostic or clinical scope from an online program alone.
- You want a guaranteed income or title. Titles come through an exam.
Your questions, answered.
Do I need any background?
No. The program starts at the beginning. Curiosity is enough. You don't need Sanskrit, a perfect routine, or a cupboard of mysterious herbs.
Is it really professional-level Āyurveda?
Yes. Affordable is not lightweight. Established Āyurvedic schools have reviewed our coursework and accepted our students into further study. Compare the curriculum and depth with any school, then compare the price.
Are you accredited?
No. We left AAC accreditation to stay rigorous and keep Āyurveda accessible. Our curriculum still fully aligns with the Ayurvedic Accreditation Council (AAC) guidelines.
Who teaches here?
Working clinicians, physicians, herbalists, and scholars teach you. Every student gets the same faculty.
Can I join from outside the United States?
Yes. Students join from every continent. Classes are in English, online and recorded, so time zones are no barrier for you.
How long does the program take?
The average is 3 years. 12 months is possible at 2 courses a month. It is $500 for every year you stay.
Will my price go up?
Today's rate is $500 a year. While you stay a member, it never goes up. If you cancel and rejoin, you pay the price in effect then.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. The Foundations course gives you the full first class of every module, with no credit card.
Are textbooks included?
No. Textbooks are not included in your membership.
How do I cancel? What is the refund policy?
Cancel before your next payment date and you will not be charged again. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. No contract, no cancellation fee. Payments already made are final and non-refundable, so cancel before the date you would be charged. The policy is the same for everyone. A genuine billing error will be fixed.
Is clinical training required? Do I need the NAMACB exam?
No to both. You can certify here without clinical training. The NAMACB exam is optional, and most students never need it. If you want it, our Bridge Pathway connects you to a partner institution, such as California College of Ayurveda, for in-person clinical training.
Can my education transfer to another school?
Most AAC-recognized schools will recognize our students for clinical transfer. Each receiving school sets its own requirements, so confirm them directly with the school you have in mind.
How much does a certificate or transcript cost?
$108 per Registrar request, for each certificate, transcript, or record. The fee is the same for everyone and is not waived or reduced.
How do I get help?
Write to instituteofayurvedicmedicine@gmail.com. We will help you find a way through.
