Hailing from a 180 yrs old Ayurvedic family and having an experience of 35 yrs in Ayurveda, Dr. Poilan graduated from a well known Ayurvedic university in India, V.P.S.V. Ayurvedic college in Kottaka, Kerala.  He also holds a post graduate diploma in Guidance and Counseling.    

Dr. Poilan has visited more than 19 countries, conducting Ayurvedic seminars, workshops and consulations.  He runs the PVA Ayurvedic Hospital in Kerala, India, a multi-specialty Ayurvedic nursing home, providing rejuvenation therapy, purification therapy, and treatment for various ailments such as joint pain, ulcers, infertility, etc. He also conducts Ayurvedic and yoga trainings, specializing in Ayurvedic massage and panchakarma therapy.

Time Commitment

Nutritional Therapy is a 100-hour course delivered over 10 2-hour lessons.  Students can expect around 8 hours per lesson for self-study and reading.

Prerequisites

If a student is not enrolled in one of Yoga Veda Institute’s diploma or certificate programs, there are no prerequistes to take this course however students must have a foundational understanding of tridosha and their gunas, agni, ama, the 7 dhatus, srotamsi, nidana, and samprapti in order to fully participate in this class.
