This is not simply an intensive to complete hours.

Gain Hands-On Experience.

This immersion was originally created for Yoga Veda Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine’s Ayurvedic Practitioner students to fulfill their in-person training requirements. When completed as a three-week program, students earn 180 Gurukul Clinical Preceptorship hours.

Today, this experience has grown into something more.

This training is open to those with a foundational understanding of Ayurveda who are ready to deepen their clinical confidence, refine their facilitation skills, and integrate Ayurveda and Yoga into real-world practice.

Whether you are:

• An Ayurvedic student

• A yoga teacher

• A wellness or healing practitioner

• Or someone deeply committed to living and sharing holistic medicine

This immersion offers hands-on clinical experience, mentorship, and community support designed to help you move from theory into embodied practice.

For students who feel called beyond participation, this training also serves as a pathway into leadership and preceptorship, preparing practitioners to guide others and offer Ayurveda within their own communities.

Students enrolled in our Ayurvedic Practitioner program may fulfill their in-person training and clinical residency requirements through this four-week immersion.

Upon successful completion, eligible students will:

• Complete required in-person and clinical hours

• Graduate with a Certificate of Completion at the Ayurvedic Practitioner level

• Be qualified to sit for the NAMACB Board Certification exam, in alignment with our AAC-approved program

• Be eligible to step into the Preceptor Pathway, supporting future students and offering this training locally in partnership with the Institute*

More than a requirement, this immersion is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with peers, mentors, and teachers—grounding your education in real connection, lived experience, and embodied practice.

*Preceptor eligibility is contingent upon program completion, board exam eligibility, and Institute approval.

100 In-Person Clinical Hours

Of the 180 hours, 100 are clinical; of the 45 hours, 25 are clinical, fulfilling Yoga Veda Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine’s Gurukul Clinical Preceptorship requirements.

Each week builds depth, confidence, and clarity—supporting you to lead with presence, integrity, and authenticity.

Beyond teaching, this training also prepares you to step into the role of a Preceptor, guiding students in embodied practice, mentorship, and applied learning. You’ll gain the skills and confidence needed to support others on their path, offer training locally, and contribute to the next generation of practitioners in partnership with the Institute.

This is more than learning how to teach—it’s learning how to lead, mentor, and serve through lived wisdom.
