Additional Tuition Information
The cost of the program covers all distance credits enrolled in at the beginning of each trimester. Students can take as few or as many credits as they wish each trimester of enrollment.
Because the cost of the program covers all of the credits, enrolled students who wish to take more credits will progress through the program faster.
Students will be invoiced for the cost of the program each month. The cost of the program includes academic and clinical tuition only. Students may choose to complete additional onsite intensive programs or the onsite requirement may be waived through our clinical preceptor program.
There are no additional hidden fees. Enrolled students can expect to pay the fees published at the time of enrollment for the duration of the program. The cost of the program and other fees may be raised or lowered periodically without notice for new students. Fees will be posted on the YVI website and in the YVI catalog for the year of the student’s initial enrollment. Tuition, fees, and additional costs are estimated as closely as possible in the YVI website and catalog. Students must meet all agreed-upon financial obligations to the school as per the policy in the YVI catalog before being allowed to graduate or receive official transcripts. Payment plans may not be modified.

Refund Policy in Detail

Due to a finite number of students we are able to accommodate each trimester, at the time you are accepted into the program, or awarded a scholarship, you agree to pay your tuition in full. At the moment of enrollment you agree to fully participate in the program, and if you determine at a later date that you would like to discontinue with the program you acknowledge that there are no refunds to any tuition payments made.
If you choose to withdraw, pause your studies, do not resume your studies after pausing your program, or are formally withdrawn for any reason, you are still liable for the full tuition amount agreed upon at the time of enrollment according to your student agreement. Refunds will not be provided for students who withdraw, pause, do not resume after an extended pause, or are formally withdrawn from the program for any reason.
It is the students responsibility to determine if this program is the right fit prior to enrolling.

Program Withdraw
For students who wish to discontinue their studies for any reason after enrolling in the program may do so by filling out the student withdraw request form. Students who have paid in full, or are on a payment plan are not eligible for tuition refunds (see “refund policy” above).
Students on extended payment plans will be invoiced a final payment if any outstanding payments are due for the trimesters already completed. For example, for students who wish to withdraw and have completed 4 trimesters thus far, but have only made payments towards their program totaling the published tuition for 2 trimesters, will be invoiced the remaining 2 trimester tuition due regardless of participation in those trimesters of the program (except scholarship recipients).
Scholarship recipients are liable for the full tuition due at the time of enrollment. There are no exceptions. Scholarship recipients sign an acceptance agreement at the time of enrollment into the program and agree to pay the tuition agreed upon in their scholarship offer.
