Time Commitment

Nutritional Therapy is a 100-hour course delivered over 10 2-hour lessons.  Students can expect around 8 hours per lesson for self-study and reading.


If a student is not enrolled in one of Yoga Veda Institute’s diploma or certificate programs, there are no prerequistes to take this course.  However, students must have a foundational understanding of tridosha and their gunas, agni, ama, and the 7 dhatus in order to fully understand the content in this class. 

Students may take our foundation courses or read Ayurveda by Dr. Vasant Lad to prepare.
