Objectives for the current week’s lesson:
This lesson we examine the srotas that control intake of nourishment and excretion of wastes. These are of great importance when performing clinical examination and questioning and much of Ayurvedic internal medicine relies on accurate assessment of them.
Class Objectives:
- Review and introduce: 3 intake / 3 excretion Srotamsi.
- Define and discuss origin, mula, mukha, marga, organs and normal functions of the 3 intake Srotamsi (Prana, Anna, Ambu).
- Define and discuss origin, mula, mukha, marga, organs and normal functions of the 3 excretory Srotamsi (Purisha, Mutra, Sveda).
