Course Overview

Learn to design, implement, and manage comprehensive tonification programs using dietary and herbal therapies, as well as internal and external snehana (oil therapies).

Gain expertise in pacifying the doṣas and eliminating āma (undigested material) through targeted interventions like dīpana (increasing agni), pācana (digesting āma), sensory therapies, exercise, and heat treatments.

This course equips you with the skills to assess and balance agni, āma, and ojas for optimal well-being.

  • Bṛṁhaṇa (Tonification)
  • Doṣas Śamana (Pacification)
  • Seven traditional forms of palliative therapy
  • Āyurveda anatomy and physiology
  • Indications and contraindications for palliation therapy
  • How to design a palliation program to correct an imbalance in each doṣa
  • Assessing the client’s state of agni (digestive fire), āma (undigested material) and ojas (essence of life)
  • Digestion, tongue, stools, and body odor as a means of identifying āma (undigested material) in the body
  • Doṣa vikṛti (pathological condition)
  • Use of herbs and spices
  • Effective, safe, and appropriate, application of diet, herbs, sensory therapies, exercise, and heat treatments

She wears multiple hats as a practitioner, writer, and instructor, all with a central focus on empowering women to discover balance and guiding fellow practitioners in harnessing effective tools for women’s well-being.

With over two decades of experience as a Registered Midwife, Terra has attended numerous births, bringing her profound expertise to the realm of women’s health. Her journey also led her to the world of Ayurveda, where she studied under various teachers before graduating from Alandi Ayurvedic Gurukula as a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner.

Today, Terra’s passion shines through her writings and her individual work with women through her practice, WiseWomanhood – Holistic Women’s Health and Writings. Her dedication to the holistic well-being of women is a testament to her unwavering commitment to this important field.
