THE INITIATIVE

The mission of The Ayurveda Project is to restore Ayurveda as a living, ethical tradition — practiced with integrity, humility, and responsibility by those called to serve their communities.

In a landscape where minimalist trainings and unclear standards have led to confusion and misuse, The Ayurveda Project offers a different path — one rooted in depth, ethics, lineage, and true understanding of scope of practice.

Those who join The Ayurveda Project are trained as stewards and guides — individuals who understand both the power of this medicine and the responsibility that comes with it.

What Is The Ayurveda Project

The Ayurveda Project Scholarship Program is the starting point of an evolving global ecosystem of ethical Ayurvedic education and mentorship.

It provides a sponsored pathway into a a comprehensive 1500 Hour | 3 Year Ayurvedic Practitioner training offered through Yoga Veda Institute — with the option to continue onward.

The Ayurveda Project is a Scholarship Program that exists to cultivate responsible stewards of the living tradition of Ayurveda.

Who Is This For?

The Ayurveda Project is intended for those who feel a sincere responsibility to practice and share Ayurveda with integrity.

This includes those who:

• Are already serving in healing, teaching, birth work, or community care
• Have completed trainings that lacked depth, structure, or ethical clarity
• Have felt uncertain about scope of practice and professional boundaries
• Were encouraged to take on responsibilities they were not fully trained for
• Are seeking a more grounded, accountable, and rigorous path forward
• Feel a call to repair, realign, and return to true stewardship
• Want to serve their communities with skill, humility, and responsibility

How To Join The Project

Entry into The Ayurveda Project begins with a commitment pledge.

Those who feel called to this path are invited to enter through a Pledge of Stewardship — an ethical affirmation of responsibility, humility, and respect for this living tradition.

Before stepping forward, we ask that you read the pledge carefully and feel into its meaning.

It is a conscious choice to walk this path with integrity, accountability, and reverence.
