SEVA Means Selfless Service

To your own healing, your family, your community, and the preservation of this wisdom. It is where learning begins through presence, humility, and lived practice.

Step Into The Seva Pathway

Where Ayurveda Becomes Part of Your Life

The SEVA Pathway supports you in integrating Ayurveda into your daily life — through food, rhythm, self-care, and seasonal living.

You learn by living.

Applying Ayurvedic principles within your home, your routines, and your personal healing journey.

Through guided education, community spaces, and ongoing mentorship, you build confidence in understanding your body, your mind, and the rhythms that shape your wellbeing.

Over time, Ayurveda stops feeling like something you study…

…and begins to feel like something you live.

what this pathway supports

Students commonly enter SEVA to:

• Deepen their personal healing journey
• Care for their families through food and rhythm
• Create nourishing home environments
• Understand seasonal living and daily routines
• Share Ayurvedic lifestyle wisdom naturally within community

This pathway is complete on its own — designed for lived study, embodiment, and everyday practice.

For those who later feel called to deepen their education, SEVA also provides a gentle foundation for transitioning into professional certification pathways in the future.

What SEVA Really Is

Ayurvedic Practitioner

It is a guided pathway for living Ayurveda.

Grounded in daily life, personal healing, and steady integration.

It’s for those called to bring Ayurvedic wisdom into their homes, routines, and relationships in practical, meaningful ways.

This work is personal.

It’s about noticing patterns, supporting your body, and creating rhythms that help you feel nourished and clear.

Here, Ayurveda is not just studied — it is lived.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Ready to embrace Ayurveda and take the next step? Below, you’ll find all the information you need to make an informed and heartfelt decision about joining us on this path of healing and transformation.
Who can join the SEVA pathway?

We welcome seekers from all walks of life — from wellness professionals wishing to deepen their personal practice to those just beginning their journey into Ayurveda.

You do not need prior training.

You do not need a professional goal.

You only need a genuine interest in living this wisdom more fully in your daily life.

SEVA is designed to meet you where you are — supporting personal healing, family wellbeing, and the gradual integration of Ayurvedic rhythms over time.

This pathway is open to anyone who feels the call to study Ayurveda as a way of life — not just a body of knowledge.

What subjects will I study inside SEVA?

SEVA students are welcomed into the full breadth of Ayurvedic education.

You’ll explore foundational and lifestyle applications across all core subjects — including Ayurvedic philosophy, digestion, nutrition, daily and seasonal routines, herbal foundations, energetics, women’s health, yoga integration, and mind-body medicine.

Rather than limiting your study to one topic, SEVA offers a well-rounded immersion into the complete system of Ayurveda as it applies to daily life.

How much time should I plan to dedicate to my studies?

Your Ayurvedic journey begins the moment you’re ready — and because our program is designed for flexibility, you can set the pace that fits your life.

Average Weekly Commitment:
Most students dedicate 5–10 hours per week, per class, including live sessions, readings, and practice work.

Assignment Load:
Expect a balanced rhythm of hands-on exercises, reflection prompts, quizzes, and midterm or final exams — all designed to deepen your understanding without overwhelming your schedule.

Choose Your Pace:
You may take 1–5 classes each trimester (January, May, September). The number of classes you take determines your completion timeline:

Pace Classes per Trimester Typical Completion Timeline
Full-Time 4–5 ~18–24 months
Part-Time 1–2 ~3–6 years

Immediate Access When You Enroll:
Begin right away with instant access to the Foundations Suite and start exploring at your own pace.

Live courses unfold each trimester — January, May, and September — and you may join the next cycle or continue independently until then.

What Is the Class Schedule?

We prioritize live, interactive learning to create a dynamic and engaging experience.
Classes are held Monday through Friday, between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), offering a wide range of options to accommodate different time zones and schedules.

Because our community is global, we do everything possible to make classes accessible wherever you live.

For students in the EU:
Most live classes fall in the afternoon and evening hours, making them easy to attend in real time.

If a class is outside your local time:
You’ll have access to a full class recording within your Student Portal so you never miss out.

Attendance & Flexibility

We encourage live attendance so you can participate in discussion, ask questions, and connect with your instructors and peers.
However, when life requires flexibility, watching the class recording counts toward your participation and program hours.

Catch-Up Made Simple

All live sessions are recorded, archived, and available on demand through your Student Portal.
You can revisit lessons, pause and rewatch as needed, and catch up at your own pace — ensuring continuous progress no matter your schedule.

Will I Ever Have to Attend In-Person Classes or Trainings?

The SEVA pathway is delivered fully online.

Do you offer Scholarships?

Scholarships are available for our Professional Certification Pathways.

The SEVA Pathway has already been structured as our most accessible education offering — designed to keep Ayurvedic study open, inclusive, and financially attainable for a wide range of students.

Through SEVA’s annual contribution model, we’re able to extend structured education, mentorship, and community learning without the financial barriers often associated with professional training.

Because of this intentionally reduced cost structure, additional scholarships are not offered within the SEVA Pathway.

If you are seeking professional certification and require financial support, we warmly invite you to explore our scholarship opportunities within the Professional Pathways.

Can I Take a Break or Pause My Studies?

Yes.

SEVA is designed to move alongside real life — not compete with it.

As long as your annual SEVA contribution remains active, you’re welcome to pause your studies and return whenever you’re ready.

There are no penalties for taking time to integrate what you’ve learned, tend to family needs, or move through busy seasons of life.

You can step away when needed… and step back in with support when the time feels right.

Is SEVA Risk Free?

Yes.

Because we believe in complete transparency — and want you to feel confident in your decision — SEVA includes a 30-day exploration window from the time of enrollment.

This allows you to enter the learning space, explore the materials, and experience the pathway firsthand before fully committing to the year.

If you decide within the first 30 days that SEVA is not the right fit, you may request a full refund of your annual contribution.

Because all digital materials and learning resources are unlocked upon enrollment — and because your contribution supports the sustainability of our faculty, platform, and mission — refunds are not available beyond the initial 30-day window.

For full policy details, you may review our Student Handbook.

Is there a Certification Upon Completion?

SEVA is a personal education pathway and does not lead to professional certification, credentials, transcripts, or practitioner qualification.

This pathway is designed as an audit-style learning experience — allowing you to study, participate, and integrate Ayurvedic wisdom for personal growth, family wellness, and daily life.

There are no exams, clinical assessments, or certification requirements within SEVA.

Instead, the focus is on lived integration — applying what you learn within your routines, relationships, and personal healing journey.

For those who later feel called toward professional certification, formal credentialed pathways remain available as a separate step.

Path to NAMACB Board Certification

Yes — for those who choose to pursue professional training in the future.

SEVA is a personal education pathway and does not lead directly to clinical training or board certification.

However, students who feel called to deepen their studies may transition into Yoga Veda Institute’s Professional Certification Pathways — which are designed to prepare graduates for eligibility to sit for the National Ayurvedic Medical Association Certification Board (NAMACB) Board Exam.
