EXPERIENCE AYURVEDA THROUGH SEVA

Volunteer Clinical Residency Teaching Clinic · Algarve · Portugal

The Spirit of Seva

A working clinic. A small community space.

Real clients.
Real needs.
Real responsibility.

Volunteers contribute to the daily functioning of the clinic while receiving supervised clinical training.

Volunteers will…

• Offer consultations & workshops
• Prepare herbal medicines
• Offer treatments
• Help clean and reset treatment room
• Support clinic flow
• Contribute wherever needed

Some days will be quiet.
Some days will be full.
This is real clinic life.

Where You’ll Stay | Casa Veda

Residents live on site within our shared Casa Veda accommodation.

Clinic housing is simple, clean, and communal — designed to support clinical immersion rather than retreat living.

You can expect:

• A private or shared room
• Shared bathroom facilities
• Communal kitchen

This is modest, functional housing that allows residents to live affordably while focusing on service and training.

You’ll cook together, prepare meals together, and share responsibility for maintaining the living space.

Private accommodation is not offered within the residency container.

If you require private housing, we recommend exploring alternative clinical placements that may better suit your needs.

Clinical Residency Overview

This is a working clinical placement rooted in service.

Simple. Structured. Community-based.

We want to keep expectations grounded.

Residents participate in the daily rhythm of the clinic:

• Supporting client consultations
• Offering hands on treatments
• Preparing herbal medicines & oils
• Hosting community workshops
• Supporting clinic operations
• Case discussions
• Shared space upkeep

You are here to serve — and learn through service.

Refund & Cancellation

We understand that life circumstances can change, and we aim to approach residency reservations with fairness and flexibility whenever possible.

Because residency placements are limited and directly support the operating costs of the teaching clinic, deposits are generally non-refundable.

However, if plans shift, we are usually able to transfer your deposit or payment to a future residency date within the same calendar year, provided space is available and we receive notice in advance.

Our goal is to work with you wherever we reasonably can, while also ensuring the clinic remains sustainable for the community and fellow students it serves.

If you need to make a change to your reservation, please reach out as early as possible so we can support you in finding the best solution.
