He pursued advanced studies in upper-division Sanskrit at the University of California, Berkeley, and received formal Ayurvedic training at Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in New Zealand as well as at the prestigious Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he studied under world-renowned teacher Dr. Vasant Lad.
