Discuss Case Studies with an Ayurvedic Practitioner

CLINICAL INTERNSHIP: BRIDGING THEORY & PRACTICE

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this internship, you’ll know how to think like a practitioner. You’ll have practiced analyzing real case studies, identifying patterns of imbalance, and discussing treatment options alongside an experienced Ayurvedic professional. You’ll gain clarity on how to apply what you’ve learned and you’ll start building the confidence that only comes from clinical exposure. More than just observation, this course gives you the structure and support to articulate your own assessments, make recommendations, and receive feedback in a collaborative setting.

Each case study you engage with becomes part of your clinical record, bringing you one step closer to feeling prepared and qualified to support others in your Ayurvedic practice.

Curriculum

This internship emphasizes the practical application of Ayurvedic principles through documented client encounters, providing an opportunity to integrate classroom learning with supervised clinical practice.

Stage 1: Observing and Analyzing Case Studies

Begin by attending live client consultations presented by advanced students. In this foundational stage, you’ll analyze case histories, observe treatment planning, and deepen your diagnostic understanding. This phase focuses on building critical thinking and clinical observation skills.

Stage 2: Active Participation and Practitioner Collaboration

Progress into more hands-on learning as you contribute to the assessment and treatment planning process. Under the guidance of an experienced Ayurvedic Practitioner, you will work collaboratively in live case reviews, offer input on Ayurvedic protocols, and develop confidence in your clinical voice.

Stage 3: Leading Case Presentations and Treatment Planning

In the final phase of your internship, you will present client cases and desig comprehensive treatment plans. You will demonstrate your readiness for independent practice by applying Ayurvedic diagnostic tools, lifestyle counseling, and therapeutic recommendations in real time, with mentor feedback and support.

Required Component:

Each client encounter will include written documentation of each session including presenting symptoms, diagnostic evaluation, and therapeutic protocol.
