Curriculum
Learn how to identify signs of physical and mental depletion using Ayurvedic assessment tools.
Understand when bṛṁhaṇa (tonification) is the right approach—and when it’s not.
Explore how agni, āma, and ojas influence your ability to rebuild strength and vitality.
Deepen your understanding of the dhātus (tissues) and how to nourish them through targeted therapies.
Assess the state of ojas and learn how to cultivate it through sattvic nourishment.
Discover the foods that truly nourish, and how to design meals for vāta, pitta, and kapha depletion.
Work with Ayurvedic herbs that rebuild and rejuvenate body and mind.
Practice designing internal snehana (oleation) plans for deep nourishment.
Learn the art of external snehana therapies like abhyanga to calm the nervous system and restore strength.
Competencies
Bṛṁhaṇa (Tonification)
Demonstrated ability to design, implement and manage a program of tonification for sustaining the health of the body and mind. Demonstrated ability to recommend and provide the following treatments and interventions:
- Dietary therapies that promote tonification
- Herbal therapies that promote tonification
- Internal and external snehana (oil therapies)
- Daily routines and lifestyle that promotes tonification
Knowledge of:
- Indications and contraindications for tonification therapy
- Designing a tonification program in accordance with the doṣa vikṛti (pathological condition)
- Managing a tonification program and adjust the program in accordance with the client’s progress
- Assessing the state of agni (digestive fire), āma (undigested material) and ojas (essence of life)
- How to assess the dhātus (tissues) and the signs of depletion

Dr. Resmi V. Rajagopal - Your Teacher
Dr. Resmi V. Rajagopal BAMS, MS (Ayurveda Gynec) PGDYN is a dedicated Ayurveda Physician and founder of the versatile wellness app Ayurshe, and born and nurtured in the Ayurvedic-rich environment of Kerala, India. Her journey in Ayurvedic medicine commenced in 2007, marked by her graduation from Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram, followed by a master’s degree from the prestigious ITRA Jamnagar. Her academic path was enhanced by additional training in yoga therapy, beauty care, and pulse diagnosis.
Throughout her career, Dr. Rajagopal has developed a keen expertise in patient care, diagnostic skills, and hands-on surgical experiences, infused with the practical wisdom and spiritual insights imparted by her GURUs. Her approach to health and wellness extends beyond traditional learning, embodying a holistic perspective.
Dr. Rajagopal's passion for education led her to the role of assistant professor at the SDM College of Ayurveda in Udupi, India, where she played a pivotal role in mentoring the next generation of Ayurveda students. This experience significantly enriched her skills in both theoretical and practical aspects of Ayurvedic medicine.
