ABOUT SANDY

As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor certified by the Yoga Veda Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine (YVIAM), Sandy guide individuals toward holistic well-being, rooted in Ayurveda’s timeless principles. Her journey into natural health began with a transformative recovery from severe peritonitis, sparking a lifelong commitment to understanding the interplay between diet, mind, and the body’s innate healing capacity.

Driven to democratize self-healing knowledge, Sandy believe it to be a universal human right—an ethos strengthened by over two decades of experience working in economic and social development across emerging nations, where she witnessed firsthand the inequity in healthcare access. This path led her from international organizations to the nurturing realms of plants and natural medicine, deepening through immersive studies in Ayurveda in India.

In addition to her Ayurvedic studies, Sandy trained in Andean herbalism, studying local medicinal plants alongside indigenous communities in northern Ecuador. This training enriched her understanding of holistic healing and the power of traditional plant medicine.

Healing Modalities

Alongside Ayurveda and herbalism, Sandy practice the Zen touch technique, which engages energy points within the central nervous system for restorative healing. She integrate these practices to offer a comprehensive, personalized approach that harmonizes diverse healing modalities, particularly for those familiar with conventional medicine’s path.

Passion

Beyond her work, Sandy connect with nature through hiking, cycling, photography, and forest walks, remaining attuned to the natural rhythms of the world. These activities nurture her spirit and reinforce her dedication to holistic health.
