Anne has found her true passion in teaching classical Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda. She believes strongly in these ancient teachings and experiences them every day by living the lifestyle and applying the teachings to her own life. The last few years she has been teaching in her studio in Saigon and at her retreats in Asia. Her love for travel and adventure led her to the next step; teaching yoga teachers all over the world.

Anne slowly started her Yoga journey at the age of 22 in the Netherlands. While living a hectic life and working in Amsterdam’s fashion scene, Yoga was the only time of balance and quietness. After living this life for 6 years there was a point of realization. Something that had been boiling inside for a long time suddenly came out: what am I doing, this is not really my path, but what is? She left everything behind and moved to Vietnam not knowing what life would bring her, but trusting that it would work out in some way, and it did.

She emerged herself in Yoga, spending a lot of time at the Sivananda center and ashram, feeling more happy, balanced and peaceful than ever. This led to doing an Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Veda in Thailand. She didn’t know what to expect, but definitely not the huge lifestyle change it brought her. After the training everything seemed to fall into place. Teaching a few classes a week turned into a Yoga studio, which led to organizing weekend and week retreats. Anne strongly believes that when you do what you are supposed to do, when you start listening to your inner voice and align with the universe, everything naturally falls into place. That is what happened and what is still happening since she started following her Yoga path.

Even though she absolutely loves sharing the physical Yoga practices, for her that is not the most important teaching of Yoga. All these practices are just perfectly designed tools to become the best person you can be. Her dharma is to spread love and light by helping others to find peace and balance within. She believes that by planting these Yoga seeds in individuals, eventually the world will become a more peaceful, loving place.
