Brittany’s fervor for the healing arts was ignited during her academic pursuit of Anthropology, where she unearthed the profound influence of spiritual well-being and the art of healing. This revelation propelled her towards her true calling, leading to her graduation from the Ayurvedic Practitioner Program at Yoga Veda Institute.

Today, she stands as a dedicated Ayurvedic Practitioner and holds certification as a Yoga Instructor. In her role as the Dean of Education at Yoga Veda Institute, Brittany’s entire being is devoted to the timeless principles of Ayurveda and yoga. Her heart is unwaveringly committed to guiding and nurturing her students on their transformative journey towards optimal health and holistic wellness.

In addition to her Ayurvedic expertise, she holds a diploma in Yoga & Naturopathy.

Dr. Resmi brings a wealth of clinical, surgical, para-surgical, and emergency practice experience to her work. Her specialization lies in the treatment of women facing hormonal imbalances and infertility challenges, offering them a path to enhanced well-being.

Hailing from the heart of Ayurvedic tradition, Kerala, India, Dr. Resmi earned her Bachelor’s degree from Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College and her Master’s degree from Jamnagar College. Dr. Poilan’s journey in Ayurveda is deeply rooted in tradition, as he hails from a venerable Ayurvedic lineage with a history spanning 180 years. With an impressive 34-year experience in this ancient healing science, he carries forward the legacy of his family.

Dr. Poilan’s educational foundation was established at the esteemed V.P.S.V. Ayurvedic College in Kottaka, Kerala, India. In addition to his Ayurvedic qualifications, he holds a postgraduate diploma in Guidance and Counseling.

His expertise has taken him across the globe, where he has visited more than 19 countries, offering Ayurvedic seminars, workshops, and consultations. In Kerala, India, he presides over the PVA Ayurvedic Hospital, a multi-specialty Ayurvedic nursing home. Here, rejuvenation therapy, purification therapy, and treatment for a range of ailments, including joint pain, ulcers, and infertility, are provided with the utmost care and proficiency.

Dr. Poilan’s commitment to the dissemination of Ayurvedic knowledge is further evidenced by his role as a trainer, specializing in Ayurvedic massage and panchakarma therapy, as well as Ayurvedic and yoga instruction. His extensive experience and dedication to holistic health make him a prominent figure in the world of Ayurveda.

Dr. Scott Roos, Ed.D., known as “Teacher Scott,” is a highly accomplished educator and practitioner with expertise in Ayurveda, Jyotish, and Yoga. His Ayurveda studies were undertaken at the Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in New Zealand and the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico, where he trained with Dr. Vasant Lad. He’s also delved into Jyotish through years of study with master Jyotishi Hart DeFouw.

In the realm of Yoga, Teacher Scott completed his 500-hour Viniyoga teacher training under Gary Kraftsow in the Krishnamacharya tradition. His passion for language led him to study Sanskrit at the Ayurvedic Institute, the Vedic Vidya Institute, and UC Berkeley. Additionally, he gained insights into Yoga Sutras and Philosophy through mentorships with prominent teachers.

For over 19 years, Teacher Scott has been practicing and teaching Yoga, Ayurveda, Jyotisha, Sanskrit, and Yoga Philosophy, making a significant impact in these transformative fields.

As the author of three Ayurvedic Cookbooks, including “The Everyday Ayurveda Guide to Self-Care,” “The Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook: A Seasonal Guide to Eating and Living Well,” and “Everyday Ayurvedic Cooking for a Calm, Clear Mind: 100 Sattvic Recipes,” she has shared her culinary expertise to promote holistic well-being.

Kate is also a nationally certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, showcasing her deep understanding of this ancient healing science. She is the visionary founder of the Ayurvedic Living Institute, where she continues to empower individuals with Ayurvedic wisdom.

Beyond her Ayurvedic pursuits, Kate is an authorized Ashtanga yoga instructor, sharing her passion for yoga in Boston and Portland, Maine. Her dedication to her craft is evident through her annual sojourns to India for further study, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to Ayurveda and yoga.

With over two decades of experience as a Registered Midwife, Terra has attended numerous births, bringing her profound expertise to the realm of women’s health. Her journey also led her to the world of Ayurveda, where she studied under various teachers before graduating from Alandi Ayurvedic Gurukula as a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner.

Today, Terra’s passion shines through her writings and her individual work with women through her practice, WiseWomanhood – Holistic Women’s Health and Writings. Her dedication to the holistic well-being of women is a testament to her unwavering commitment to this important field.

The Center for Sacred Window Studies was conceived with a profound commitment to disseminate the teachings of Ayurveda and Postpartum Care, recognizing the vital need to reintroduce these ancient concepts into the modern world. Their mission is to assist parents and babies in reestablishing a connection with these age-old principles, which can effectively address common postpartum challenges.

Every member of the Center for Sacred Window Studies has been drawn to this work through their contact and study with the late Ysha Oakes, the visionary founder of the original Sacred Window School. Ysha Oakes’ wisdom and compassionate spirit left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path, and the Center for Sacred Window Studies pays homage to her legacy and her invaluable contributions to this field.

Her expertise spans Restorative Yoga Therapy, Clinical Ayurveda, Yoga and Ayurveda for Pregnancy and Postpartum, Vedic Psychology, Vedanta Philosophy, and Vedic Astrology.

She’s the creator of SRY {Spinal Release Yoga}, a transformative practice that eases deep muscle tension and addresses emotional and physical pain at its roots. Operating from her yoga therapy center in Northern California, she works with individuals, groups, and teachers.

Residing in Northern California with her husband, a Vedic Astrologer, and their son, she’s a dedicated advocate for holistic well-being.

Marek’s extensive education includes graduating from The Ayurvedic Institute of Albuquerque, N.M., under the guidance of the renowned Dr. Vasant Lad. He further honed his expertise through two years of clinical internship with Dr. Alakananda Devi of Alandi Ayurvedic Gurukula, specializing in Internal Herbal Medicine, Clinical Pancha Karma, Digestive Disorders, Parasitology, Women/Men’s Health, and Chronic Pain Management.

Beyond her professional roles, Christine is a devoted mother of four boys, most of whom have been ushered into the world using the very principles she teaches. She passionately describes Ayurvedic Postpartum Care as a profoundly transformative practice and the often overlooked key in modern postpartum care.

Her mission is to rekindle ancient wisdom for the contemporary family, transforming our cultural perspective on pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting. Ashlee’s thriving practice in Northern California involves collaborating with midwives to offer Ayurvedic prenatal and postpartum care, bringing the age-old traditions of holistic wellness to the modern world.

Charlotte’s journey into the world of postpartum doula work is a profound and spiritual one. During a meditation, she received a business name that set her on this path, guided by an inner calling. Her mentor and teacher further affirmed this calling when she began referring to her students as “Ayurdoulas.”

This marked the start of Charlotte’s deep exploration as a postpartum doula, following years of serving as a birth doula and prenatal massage therapist. She is unwavering in her belief in the importance of supporting mothers on their transformative journey of growing, birthing, and nurturing life on this earth.
